Nowadays, trimmers are definitely giving shavers a run for their money.
Gone are the days when trimmers were just handy cutting tools that professional barbers used. You can now find trimmers in all various shapes and sizes that will easily fit your needs.
One of the most important features of a trimmer is, of course, the blade. You can now find trimmers with blades that are a little bit more high-tech than the norm, like the T liners from Andis. This is what we review in the post, the Andis T-Outliner Trimmer with T-Blade.
Before we look at a full review of this hair cutting machine, however, I have one question for you. Do you know what t blade clippers are?
T Blade Clippers
T blade clippers are those clippers or trimmers that use the T blade. Duh!
Yes, well the blade is called so because the two corners extend out past the sides of the blade, giving it that T shape look.
Now these blades are essential for barbers that do clipper art graphic design, i.e, various designs within the haircut.
By having an extended corner on each side of the blade it allows barbers to clip one direction or the other, with or against the natural growth direction of the hair.
When manipulating the tool this way, left or right, they are able to create straight lines, curved lines or whatever design they want to create.
As you can see from the image, the T blade on clippers usually have a fat round tooth on each corner. This last tooth gives you a smooth surface to cruise against the head for total creative and artistic control.

The T-shaped blade design of the Andis T-Outliner Trimmer with T-Blade is made of high quality steel that can provide some close-cuts.
You do not need to do much to get that clean, smooth cut with this blade as it requires fewer strokes as compared to other trimmers available in the market today.
A few who have reviewed this trimmer found that the cuts it gives is really thin and can be compared to those given by a barber. The cuts are as close to a razor thin as a trimmer can get.
It cuts close and smooth. With the T-shaped blade design, you can pretty much get around small and curvy areas like the ears without worrying that you might cut yourself.
Some users who have sensitive skin noticed that after using the Andis T-Outliner Trimmer with T-Blade they did not experience any sort of irritation that can result in bumps on the skin.
They also found that they did not experience any skin burn which is often common when cutting closely to the skin.
The housing is also designed well with a big, rounder body that fits perfectly in the hand. It is lightweight so you will not have to deal with some extra weight when working on your cut.
Although some are very satisfied with the quality of cut they get with the blade of the Andis T-Outliner Trimmer with T-Blade, a few who have used this trimmer found that the blade was not that sharp at all.
Some also found that the blade does not cut as well as it should, resulting in just cutting off a few hairs at a time but that is it. They also experienced some hair tugging and pulling which can be uncomfortable and can result in some irritations.
Some also found that the powerful motor can emit a loud noise which can be a little disconcerting when you are using it for a few minutes. They tend to turn it off when not in use and then turn it on again when it is time to use it.
The Andis T-Outliner Trimmer with T-Blade also tends to get a bit warm when it is kept turned on for a few minutes.
Although some appreciate the fact that it is lightweight, the plastic material used for the housing is a little off putting for some. Some people are a little concerned because the housing is not as sturdy as it should be.
If you are looking for a handy trimmer that could possibly give you a close-cut look then the Andis T-Outliner Trimmer with T-Blade is a good enough option.
The T-shaped design blade is probably its best feature giving you the flexibility to work on hard to reach areas like the edge of your ears.
It does not come without any issues, though, as some people who have reviewed this trimmer found out.
